Installation
We supply the material, and we put it up.
Most of what we install goes where a fence already stands. Taking the old one out is half the job.
New Fence Installation
Posts set, runs built, gates hung.
The material is ours, so the fence that goes up is the fence we stock. No distributor lead time, and no substituted profile halfway through the job.
Start a RequestReplacement and Removal
Wood, chain link, composite or tired vinyl taken out and replaced.
Most of what we install goes where a fence already stands. The old one leaves with us, and old concrete footings are quoted rather than discovered.
Start a RequestField Survey
We come out, measure the run, and quote from what is there.
Grade, access, and whatever is in the way. A quote based on our professional survey of the work we will need to do.
Start a RequestGates and Custom Sections
Built to the opening, not forced to a stock width.
Single gates on self-closing adjustable hinges with a proper latch and lock. When a run needs a section that is not eight feet, we build it.
Start a RequestRepairs and Post Replacement
One section fixed without redoing the whole project.
A crack in a panel, a dented post, a gate that has dropped. We hold components rather than finished sections, so a single piece can be replaced and matched.

How a Backyard Gets Its Fence
- STEP 1
Agree the line
We walk the yard with you, measure the run and settle exactly where the fence goes. Utilities get located, and an old fence on that line leaves with us.
- STEP 2
Dig the holes
Holes go in around the yard on eight-foot centres, below the frost line. Ottawa ground heaves every winter, and a post set short of that comes up with it.
- STEP 3
Set the posts
Every post is set plumb in concrete, with a galvanized steel stiffener down its core. It is what keeps a six-foot fence from flexing under a January wind.
- STEP 4
Run the rails
Rails go on bay by bay, the bottom one with its full-length aluminium insert already fitted — the part that stops an eight-foot span settling into a curve.
- STEP 5
Close it in
Tongue-and-groove planks slide down into the rails and the yard closes in. Nothing is fixed through the face of a plank, so there is nothing to work loose.
- STEP 6
Hang the gate
The gate goes on self-closing adjustable hinges with a proper latch, a flat cap finishes every post, and the offcuts and spoil leave with us.
